Relationships with authors are at the heart of every project at Triple Fire Press. Promoting inclusiveness and supporting the voices of emerging talent are core TFP values.

Originally conceived in 2022 as a means to publish Jay Lamb’s seminal life work, editor Sheila Lamb quickly realized Triple Fire Press’s vision extended far beyond the original aim.

To that end, Triple Fire Press officially relaunched in Fall 2024, with writer and editor Abby Shaffer on board as co-editor, to publish exceptional fiction, nonfiction, and poetry in every genre that ignites the creative fire through words that dream the reader to another realm.

Sheila and Abby met in the MFA program at Queens University of Charlotte and have been editing each other’s manuscripts ever since. They’ve worked together in fiction, poetry, and nonfiction and have shared stories for over a dozen years. As instructors and published working writers and poets themselves, they’ve helped thousands of other writers hone their craft and find their unique stories and voices.

TFP titles are distributed globally and are available in every format and wherever books are sold.
